This museum begins with a breif description of the history of beer, its begginings in Mesopotamia and Egypt,its beginnings in Ecuador with the Quitu-Cara culture and then with the arrival of the Franciscans, who perfected this art within their convent.
Indicates the main ingredients that are used for its preparation such as: barley malt, hops, water and yeast. The manufacturing process is demonstrated by a real craft brewery where you can see the procedure to prepare craft beer by completing the following steps: 1. Malt milling, 2. Macerated, 3. Boiling, 4. Cooling, 5. Fermentation and finally 6. Maturation. At the end of the tour you will find a space for tasting the three types of craft beer that exist in the museum, such as blonde, red and black beer.
